Addis Restaurant – Kings Cross, London, UK

ethiopian-Addis-Restaurant-london-kings-cross

This double fronted eatery is a stones throw from King Cross station.

I arrived with a friend on a Monday night and was surprised to find the place buzzing with lots of tables occupied. A warm welcome was on hand and i shown to a table.

A couple of Ethiopian beers were ordered and went down very nicely as we looked over the menu. After much debate, Awaze Tibs, Shiro, Fasolia and a grilled fish (asa) was on its way. Just enough time for a another beer. The deco is much more cafe than traditional but without doubt Ethiopian.

This is obviously a busy local eatery and the staff are super friendly. So the food arrived and i have to say was pretty good. Would i return? Well probably with a large group, which i think would be more fun and suited to the place. £50 for the two of so value for money it was good. I understand that they have live music at the weekends.

Give it a go.
