Ethiopian Tea

Completely over shadowed by its coffee (buna), Ethiopian tea is produced and widely drunk within the country.

it is traditionally drunk black and made with cinnamon, cloves and cardamon.

Sugar and lots of it is added.

Honey can be used as a replacement for sugar and Ethiopia has lots of different types of fantastic honey.

A lemon or orange spice can be added for garnish or and a little zest but is not over common.

Wush Wush and Tosign teas are popular and are grown in the highlands.
Mint, Hibiscus,Ginger,Cinnamon and green tea are also available at local stores as well as the famous Addis Tea brand.
